Tools of the Trade
Method
There are three modes of communication that eTherapy can take place through: email, instant messaging/chat or telephone/voice chat. Within each of those modes you can also choose the level of security you would like to employ. Each of these choices comes with it's own benefits and drawbacks. I am experienced with all of these options for communicating, allowing you to choose the method you are most comfortable with. Read the descriptions of these modes listed on the Options tab, or click their corresponding links at the bottom of this page.Fees and Payment
You also have the power to choose the payment structure that works for you. Empowering eTherapy offers the choice of paying per service or you may purchase credits to allow more flexibility in how much time you use. What you choose will likely depend on how you plan to utilize eTherapy services and may change during the process. On each Options page you will be shown pricing for individual services as well as the cost per minute in credits.
How do the credits work? You purchase a block of credits, which then sit in your "credit bank". Each time you utilize an eTherapy service your credit bank is charged appropriately based on the amount of time you used. You will be informed at the end of any transaction exactly how many minutes were used and how many credits remain in your bank.
Paying per service tends to work best for those who make full use of every session (i.e. detailed emails, full 50 minute chats) Using the credit system tends to work best for those who vary the length of their interactions (allowing for brief emails in between longer ones and variable length of chat).
